PSI reading: 78Today is a cloudy day. The sun is blocked by the clouds. To make it worse, the haze reduced visibility. Haiz..will the sun ever rise again?
Went for 206 proj discussion today..then supposed to head somewhere & do smthg which i hv been waiting for a v v long time..but din get a chance..in the end, went on a DD with Birds..i felt as if i hv wasted a whole afternoon..no peanut ice-cream, no caramel honey popcorn, no po lo bun, no m)phosis, no far east..haiz, how can a woman ever survive without shopping? Today, serena n i were talking abt couples shopping tgt..then she told me her frd loves to shop, but evytime she ask her bf to pei her, he will show black face..i hv also seen such guys..who sit down n wait while their gf shop in the stores..izzit the norm? What abt lesbians? Do they shop tgt?
MOE letter is not here yet..maybe it's a blessing in disguise? Was talking to yx that day..he was telling us abt the big four pay..so here it goes:
A1: $2,000
A2: $2,500
S1: $3,400
S2: $3,900
AM1: $4,800
AM2: $5,300
..........
Hmmm..not bad ba? Say..we take a conservative estimate of a teacher's pay = $3,000 per month x 6 years = $216K. (Forget about the increment, it's pathetic.) And the auditor's pay as above (which is also a conservative estimate, cos i believe AM onwards pay increment shd b higher)..which amounts to be $262.8K. The difference is abt $46.8K. Almost good enough to buy a car..of cos u can argue that teacher can take private tut n charge higher, but considering that you charge $40/hr, you need to take 97.5 tut assignments of 2 hrs each to earn the difference of $46.8K. Of cos, you can argue that pay is not everything..but when you have nothing left, the best thing is money? One thing irritating abt govt job is NS component..NS big deal meh? Women nv contribute to the country? Without women to go thru 9 months of inconvenience & subjecting themselves to the never-ending hours of labour pain which is equivalent to duno-how-many-percent-of-ur-body-being-burnt pain..where does the country get the population to grow and progress? and what does the guys do? eat n act macho in camp, where are the enemies man? Life's unfair..I really wonder what those ppl teach in ns..tot guys are supposed to grow n mature in there..guys these days are bad..really bad..fight w women over seats on bus, trains etc..nv hold door jiu suan le, still expect the gal to hold the door for them, lift door open jiu rush out dun even bother to press for the ladies..what is the world coming to? No wonder gals are turning to gals..the men simply dont get it..
Life's bad..with proj deadlines to meet..and complicated mindset which can nv be figured out..just a few days again, when almost the whole world seem unhappy, i was overly jubilant..now, i m starting to follow the crowd and feel more normal..
